PowerDNS Recursor Plexus Overview¶

PowerDNS Recursor Plexus provides additional features in top of PowerDNS Recursor:

• Ability to start with a hot cache retrieved from an already running Recursor.

• Ability to start with a measured authoritative NS speed table retrieved from an already running Recursor.

Plexus is written in Lua and builds upon the features available in Recursor. Plexus is a commercial product, it is only available to PowerDNS customers.
