DNSdist Defender Overview

DNSdist Defender provides additional features in top of DNSdist:

• Easy configuration of dynamic blocks
• Pseudo Random Subdomain attack protection
• Tunneling detection and mitigation
• Synchronization of TLS session ticket keys between instances
• Synchronization of dynamic rules between instances
• Intuitive API on top of the Lua FFI one

Defender is written in Lua and builds upon the features available in DNSdist, extending it for enterprise customers.
